Although the optional tilt stand is not necessary for effective light therapy, it is often used by those whose eyes are extra sensitive to bright light. The raised and forward tilted position helps to prevent brightness glare. Recommended for a more natural sunlight position - like the sun shining down from above. The tilt stand provides extra stability to the light therapy box than when standing alone, especially around active kids & pets. Handy for desk and table-top use. Tilt stand bolts to the back of the light box for storage or carrying.
